WHAT IS MATH MODELING?
Using mathematical structures to model real life situations!
In this club, we'll use our prior knowledge of algebra, statistics, geometry, and calculus to learn about more complex concepts like machine learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more! Anyone can join, regardless of math ability.
Activities
Algorithms
Informational meetings about the four foundations of modeling (optimization, graph theory, data science, general evaluation/analysis) and introductory algorithms.
Coding Sessions
Introductory coding tutorials in languages such as Python and Ruby.
Competitions
Teaching essential skills required for competitions, such as research, collaboration, and writing.
